Terms of Use
End User License Agreement · Effective August 29, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the operator of LiveDraft (“LiveDraft,” “we,” “us”). By installing, accessing, or using the LiveDraft browser extension, website, or AI features (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own lawful purposes, subject to these Terms. We retain all rights in the Service. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or use the Service to build a competing product except as allowed by law.
2. Intended use
LiveDraft types text that you provide into a document or text field at a human-like pace, including optional mistakes, pauses, and corrections, so the destination can show a typing or revision history.
The intended use is transferring writing you already created on another platform (another editor, device, notes app, or draft) into Google Docs or a similar field. Optional AI features only rephrase sentences from the text you pasted, then revise them back toward that paste. They are not a homework generator.
LiveDraft is not intended to help you cheat, submit work that is not yours, pass off AI-generated writing as original academic work, or evade academic integrity, honor-code, or workplace policies.
3. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- the text you paste and any document you produce with the Service;
- complying with your school, university, employer, and other institutional rules;
- how instructors, employers, or tools interpret typing history, metadata, or style;
- not using the Service in a way that is illegal or that violates others’ rights.
Schools and employers set their own rules. We do not decide whether your use is allowed, and we do not guarantee that using LiveDraft will be treated as legitimate drafting, that a document will look “human,” or that anyone will accept the result.
4. No liability for academic, employment, or institutional outcomes
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiveDraft is not liable if something goes wrong or if you are investigated, accused, graded down, failed, disciplined, suspended, expelled, fired, or otherwise punished by a school, university, employer, or other institution in connection with your use of the Service — including alleged cheating, plagiarism, unauthorized aid, or misuse of AI.
You assume all risk that a third party may treat LiveDraft output, typing history, or AI-assisted drafting unfavorably. If you are not sure your institution allows this kind of tool, do not use it.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Typing can fail, skip characters, scramble if you click or type during a run, or behave differently in Google Docs than in other fields. We do not warrant that the Service is error-free, undetectable, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular assignment or purpose. Optional AI output may be inaccurate or unusable.
6. AI features and payment
Optional AI features send the text you submit to our servers and to a third-party model provider. Token packs are sold through Polar. Purchases, refunds, taxes, and license keys are handled under Polar’s terms as well as these Terms. Unused tokens are not a cash balance. We may change prices, token amounts, or AI availability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost grades, lost admission, lost employment, lost data, or lost profits, arising from the Service or these Terms, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or, if greater, fifty U.S. dollars). Some places do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
8. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify LiveDraft and its operators against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of a third party’s rules (including a school or employer).
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. We may suspend or stop the Service at any time. You may stop using it by uninstalling the extension.
10. General
These Terms are the entire agreement for the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer law in your place of residence says otherwise. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
